Hope you were able to catch some of our fabulous Edendale Up Close concerts this past year!  We are taking a break for the holidays – our next concert will be in January, hope to see you there.  

Join us Saturday January 13th from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Edendale meeting room for a concert by Songchasers! Tara Austin, Kristi Callan, and Lyn Bertles are singer-songwriter-musicians who met while performing on other people’s songs, and then realized they were all tunesmiths themselves who would make a great trio. As Songchasers, they perform their own pop, folk, and R&B-influenced tunes together, singing harmonies and backing each other up on instruments including keyboards, guitar and ukulele.

Tara Austin is a Los Angeles-by-way-of-Nashville singer-songwriter. In addition to fronting and writing for 30-piece Nashville funk-rock band JonesWorld, she has collaborated with and lent her voice to live and studio projects across several genres including The Clementines, Jerry Riopelle, Brihony Dawson (Ladyhood), Warner Hodges (Disciples of Loud), Matt King, and Russell Smith (Amazing Rhythm Aces).

Kristi Callan has been writing songs for over 40 years and has recorded and performed with numerous folks including The Roswell Sisters, Wednesday Week, David Gray, Wondermints, Cruzados, Dave Davies, The Ventures, Big Soul, Lucky, and too many more to mention.

Lyn Bertles plays violin and viola, and has sung and recorded with Dime Box Band, Tito & Tarantula, Rob Laufer, Moris Tepper, Holly Beth Vincent, Human Drama and Hilary Duff. Her solo album Aquatic Babehood was released in 2013, and her newest album Flatinum is coming out soon.
